Preface

In addition to personal data I have included information on the "Hofsteden" (farmhouses) in the area of West Zeeuwsvlaanderen. The information is copied from booklets published by several archivists and researchers and provides ownership and lease information as well as family related information. Unfortunately the information is quite large therefor I haven't found the time to translate them. You will of course recognise the names presented here and if you are unsure about the Dutch text, then please ask me for assistance.
